This Privacy Policy explains what information Casual Monday Games collects when you visit casualmonday.games, book an event or take part in one, how that information is used and shared, and how long it is kept. Questions and requests may be sent to hello@casualmonday.games.
Information Casual Monday Games collects
When you book an event
- Company name, contact name, email address and phone number
- Headcount, occasion and any notes
- For in-person events: the venue, and the name and phone number of the on-site contact
- For remote events: the meeting platform, and the meeting link if you provide one
- Any customization request
- Your time zone, detected automatically from your browser so that times display correctly
- Payment records, including the amount paid, any refunds and payment reference numbers. Card details are submitted directly to the payment processor, and Casual Monday Games never sees or stores card numbers.
- A hashed version of your IP address, which cannot be converted back to the original, used solely to prevent repeated checkout attempts. The IP address itself is not stored.
When you use the contact form
- Your name, work email and company, along with any optional details you provide: the event you are interested in, format, headcount, preferred date and message.
When you play
- Your team name and participant roster
- Your team's answers and tiebreaker guesses
Group photos
After a remote event, Casual Monday Games may take a screenshot of the video call's gallery view to create a group photo for the organizer. The photo is created in a password-protected tool, shared only with the organizer and never published. The stored screenshot is deleted within 30 days. If you would prefer not to appear, please let the host know and turn off your camera while the group photo is taken.
How information is used
Casual Monday Games uses this information to:
- schedule and run your event, and send the confirmation email, calendar invitation, results and group photo
- process payments and refunds
- respond to your messages
- maintain business records for tax and accounting purposes
- prevent misuse of the booking system
Casual Monday Games does not sell your information, use it for advertising or add you to any mailing list.
Information is shared only with the service providers that help run Casual Monday Games, such as its payment processor, video meeting platform, calendar, email, website hosting and data storage providers, and only to the extent each needs to perform its service.
Calendar invitations. Each booking generates a calendar invitation containing the event, your company name and the venue or meeting link. You may add guests. All invitees can see one another's names and email addresses and can invite additional guests.
Client names. Casual Monday Games may list your company's name as a past client, including on its website. To opt out, email hello@casualmonday.games.
Reviews. Reviews you submit to Casual Monday Games may be quoted on its website alongside your first name and company.
Cookies and tracking
Casual Monday Games advertises on Google. When you visit the site, Google may set cookies that tell us whether you arrived from one of our ads and whether you went on to book. We use this only to see which ads work, and we don't sell your information. You can manage how Google personalizes ads at myadcenter.google.com, or block cookies in your browser settings.
- The dashboard and event pages store a sign-in session in your browser so that hosts remain signed in and players can keep their place. These pages cannot function without it.
- Questions that include a video load it from a third-party video service, which may set its own cookies.
- Checkout takes place on the website of Casual Monday Games' payment processor, Stripe, and is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- The Google tag described above sets cookies on casualmonday.games to measure which ads lead to bookings. The site sets no other cookies.

Your rights
Wherever you are located, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of the information Casual Monday Games holds about you. Requests may be sent to hello@casualmonday.games, and you will receive a response within 30 days.
Certain records, such as payment records required for tax purposes, must be retained. Deleted information may persist in backups until those backups expire, within 90 days.
If you are located in the EU or UK, Casual Monday Games processes your information to provide the services you booked, to meet legal record-keeping obligations and to prevent misuse of the booking system. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Where information is stored
Casual Monday Games and its service providers store information in the United States. If you book from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Security
Booking details are protected by a secure login, card details are handled solely by the payment processor, and all connections are encrypted. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
Casual Monday Games may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.
